May 16 saw Kevin and Jonathan head up to New York City for a blistering show in the Big Apple at Midtown  Live and the guys were joined by William Donovan on guitar, New York made some kind of impression on the guys, lots of talk of recording in New York was being tossed around. Upon landing from back in the south, it was off to Houston Texas for some pre album release promo starting with a stop at KPFT in Houston to visit with our friend Rick Heysquierdo on his fantastic show Lone Star Jukebox, playing some tunes and enjoying some conversation.  Next up was Cactus Music for the in store performance. Always a great time at Cactus Music and the staff is top notch. The evening was capped of by a barn burning performance at Natachee’s Supper n Punch, and a nice reconnecting with Tim Veillon, Gary Newman and William Donovan to drive Houston home. Always a favorite spot for Kevin and the guys when visiting Houston.

So there you have it… our start to the warm weather season, dare we use the word summer,  Kevin and the guys are looking forward to getting this album out to everyone possible abd look very forward to visiting your cities. Shows are popping up all the time so keep checking the dates.

Thank you all so much for your continued support… We are  just getting warmed up!

Mucky Duck & Nashville Thanksgiving…

As we enter the holiday season another year is coming to a close. Great times and special memories were made in this year of 2014.

Just before Kevin took to Nashville for the Thanksgiving Holiday a show took place at the wonderful McGonigel’s Mucky Duck in Houston Texas. A great time was had in this premier Texas listening room that has hosted some of the most amazing songwriters the world has seen. “It was an honor” in Kevin’s words about the performance, which also was a reunion of sorts, finding long-time friend and guitarist Tim Veillon joining the guys for a night of music and the stories behind the songs.

Following the performance Kevin headed to Nashville to enjoy Thanksgiving with family. Taking in Music City, Kevin stopped by Third Man Records and paid a visit to the Third Man Records recording booth (Yes that very same booth that Neil Young used to cut a recent album A Letter Home) to cut a new song on vinyl. Kevin’s daughter  even got in on the lo-fi experience cutting her very own vinyl single as well.

Not a bad way to head into the last part of 2014. We would like to thank everyone for the support you have shown us, it is something we are grateful for and look forward to sharing with you guys some exciting news very soon. Have a very happy and healthy holiday season. See you in 2015!!!
